China - Tiananmen Square
Each day, hundreds of thousands of tourists mainly from China visit this historic and infamous location. YouTube Tiananmen Square to see some of the videos from the youth uprising in 1989. Now, months before the 2008 Olympics, there are many layers of security including hundreds of security cameras as well as police and military that monitor everything and everyone.

I love the photo of the woman with the cell phone! Was that soldier telling you to "talk to the hand?"
The woman and us exchanged pics...they were so fun! With NO way of communicating, we had fun! Yeah talk to the hand made for a better photo!
